Chorizo Cabbage Side Dish |

This is a really simple but tasty side dish. And also one that will make it easier to eat more veggies, if you’re not usually one that goes for the greens.

Here’s what you’ll need:
– 3 cups of shredded cabbage
– 100g of chorizo – about 1 cup after dicing (medium size chorizo)
– salt
– black pepper

To make this, dice the chorizo (slice it and then cut in quarters, or first cut the chorizo in quarters, lenghtwise, and then slice it – choose the way you feel is easier). Put the chorizo in a frying pan and let it brown. Add the cabbage and put a lid on it. Let it cook for about 5 minutes or until the cabbage color seems brighter (if you want the cabbage a bit softer just let it cook a bit more; I prefer it a bit crispier). Pour the cabbage on a bowl and then season with salt and pepper to taste.

I served mine with a grilled hamburger and a boiled egg, but you can serve it as a side dish to anything you want! It’s really good! =)
