So, you just finished your meal but you’re craving something sweet. You have nothing prepared and don’t want to take a long time to come up with something.
This just happened to me a few days ago. All we need to need when this happens, is take a look at what you’ve got at home, and use your imagination!
I grabbed two cute glasses (originally candle holders) and turned the espresso machine on. While it heated, I crushed a handful of cookies. Then, I served an espresso and poured it on top of the cookies; mixed them all together.
Went to the fridge and grabbed the greek yogurt container. We always have greek yogurt at home. And I still had some pineapple from my Sweet and Sour Chicken day, so I took it out of the fridge also. Right about this time, it was logic. Cookie mix first because it was heavier and warm. Then, two tablespoons of greek yogurt, topped with some pineapple.
I could have left it and it would be good. But we also eat with our eyes so I grabbed a dark chocolate bar and grated a bit on top of each dessert. =)
And voilá! 5 minutes or less and your sweet tooth is satisfied! 😉 (and it’s a moderately healthy dessert)
