I had a very intense July. Great but really tiring. I’m not gonna mention everything that happened or post a really long text about it – I will be writing some posts on things that happened -, instead I’m going to let photos tell the story. =)
Went on a shopping spree at the “American store”. Glood, I love ya!
I had to. Coffee-mate, even though it wasn’t this flavor, was something I put in my coffee almost every day that I spent with my sister in the US. Just smelling it brought me back…
Yes, need my english muffins, and yes, for the same reason. And these are really good!
Me, pretending that I was in the US. eheh amazing how these little things can make someone so happy!
And obviously, the toasted english muffin with cream cheese. A must. And I forked it open, yes. 😛
I brought home a bit of peppermint home and I’m giving “apartment gardening” another try.
Even as little as it is, it smells amazing!
And this photo was taken in the beginning of the month, it’s grown a lot since then!
Somehow, I received this L.L. Bean catalog in the mail. Seriously, I was a freak opening it. Took it as a sign. That the US has not forgotten me 😉 eheh
I have a new niece! She’s the cutest and the spitting image of her older sister. Love them! Need to go there asap to meet her. =)
Went on a sale shopping spree to Primark and Kiko. Will be posting some more about this. Some of the above are great, some aren’t.
We’ve been having a lot of water outages. We live in a real old neighborhood and the water pipes brake easily. This was one of those 5+ times that it happened in July. The water was so strong that it made a hole below my neighbor’s car.
Luckily, with some shovel work and expertise, the car was unharmed. We were without water for 4 hours. :\
I’ve been on a cleaning/organizing spree. This time was my spice rack. Do you think I have enough spices? 😛
Sneak peek of my spice rack project. Post later on. 😉
Yet another project, this time for my nephew’s 1st birthday. =) Will be posting about it also! Turned out really cute!
When we travelled to Fundão for my nephew’s birthday, I had to do my makeup in the car (we went straight to the party). I hadn’t done that in a while but it turned out well. Will post about my current makeup must-haves.
This was probably the most important event in the month. I was a volunteer at the International ISAAC Conference and my mind kept being blown! Seriously! Will write a post on it.
Great example of my mind exploding. #ISAAC2014
Won two of the silent auctions that were being held during the conference. #ISAAC2014
Pins from the conference. #ISAAC2014
Even more cleaning/organizing, living room edition. We basically took everything out of the cabinets and moved all the furniture around. We do have lots of things, but 80% are my grandma’s (we live in her house, and she lives with my parents).
It was a huge undertaking, but it was totally worth it. The living room looks pretty and huge right now. =)
Hope you enjoyed getting updated on my life and thank you for still being there after such a long time without posting. August will bring plenty of posts and lots of news!
