Hi everyone!

Today I want to share my tips on how to use every bit of a lemon.

We have a lot of lemons around the house, at all times. We have access to lemon trees that give big and juicy lemons, really delicious! It’s not very practical to go and pick them every day, so when I do, I grab several pounds at a time!

And what can we do with several pounds of lemon? A whole lot! Do they spoil? No, if we know what we’re doing!

Some of them I place in the fridge (for a really long time), other I use in different ways. We loose nothing here!

1. Zest the lemons and freeze the zests. Every time you need lemon zest for a cake or something else, all you need to do is go to your freezer!

2. Cut the lemon peels in bit and pieces, ready to make lemon tea. Again, freeze them, and they’re ready to go whenever you want a a good homemade tea!

3. Juice the peeled and/or zested lemons and freeze the juice in ice trays. These lemon juice cubes will later be used to make lemonade, put in food, use on a cake, etc!

4. One great extra use for one of these lemon juice cubes is as a degreaser in your dishwasher! As you know, lemon works wonders as a degreaser and every time I use it, my dishes look amazing! 🙂

Have a great day!
