We went to the movies yesterday and saw The Dark Knight Rises on the midnight session. Watch the trailer below.
I’m almost 100% sure that you heard what happened in Aurora, Colorado (USA) on the midnight premiere of this movie. A man, for no known reason, entered the movie theater and fatally shot 12 people, injuring 58 others. I followed on Twitter one of the victims, Jessica Ghawi.
I know that the movie and everyone involved on its production shouldn’t be associated to such an horrific event like this one, but they will. We went to see the movie on the midnight session and my heart skipped a bit more than one beat when suddenly, a guy next to us help his iPhone up in the air. He was only showing his girlfriend where he was, but still. I’m a bit impressionable with inexplicable events that can happen to anyone anywhere.
The movie was, overall, awesome. And I say overall because the first half was a tiny bit boring to me. Yes, things were happening, but, for some reason, I wasn’t liking it as much as I usually do when it comes to Batman movies. But then, the real movie and the real action began. And I loved it!
The details surrounding the last action scenes were so cool! I love when after I leave the movie theater, I’m talking and talking and talking about a scene or a couple of events of the movie. And that happened with this one. I loved the end and how they put it. The legend ends? I don’t think so. But we’ll have to wait and see 😉
Great movie. Highly recommend it! 😉
