Tangle Teezer Review

I have the most stubborn, thick, crazy and tangle prone hair you can imagine. I can only brush my hair while it’s wet because otherwise it’s way too painful. Around Christmas I heard Anna Saccone talk about this amazing tool for hair like mine. It was called Tangle Teezer and at first it didn’t seem that promising. But then, I went to their website (click on the photo below to go there).

I browsed a bit, saw some other reviews online and decided to get one as a present for myself. I got the Original in Cosmic Black with high gloss finish.

On Christmas morning, after opening my gifts, I took a shower, washed my hair and tried it. And I’ve been using it ever since. It’s amazing. I was using a big brush from Earth Therapeutics that had been recommended to me and it worked fine – given that I could only use it with wet hair.

But now, with the Tangle Teezer, I’m actually able to do something that I couldn’t for years: brush my hair while completely dry. And if you have hair somewhat similar to mine, you get me. This is a big deal.

So, it comes in a box with this booklet:

On the box it also says that it is “Ergonomically designed for a palm friendly, non-slip fit”. Yes, it’s quite confortable to use but it can slip. My tangle teezer has flown across my bathroom on several occasions so far. It is quite resistant, though. =)

It also points out the “Revolutionary teeth configuration for dual action. Gives pain-free detangling”. This is also true. I don’t know if it’s because the teeth are like that, but it is almost pain-free (depends on my hair’s mood).

On the website they have several different types of products and they also hair advice and other cool info. Go check it out to see what I’m talking about. And if you have tangle prone hair, you may need to consider trying this product. I love it!

(oh and by the way, this was not sponsored. I bought the product and I am giving my honest opinion.)
