Rob Lowe’s Stories I Only Tell My Friends: An Autobiography

This is another item that goes on my wishlist.

Just saw the Ellen Show with Rob Lowe and he was introducing his autobiography – Stories I Only Tell My Friends. I’ve always loved Rob Lowe and I’ve seen most of his work. The way he and Ellen talked about his book and some of the episodes he told on the show, really really make me want to buy his book.

Looking for it online – on, my go-to website when buying stuff not available in Portugal – you can actually read a few pages with the Look! Inside feature, and it only made me want it more.

Checking for prices, though, I actually found this book in Portugal, in one of our largest book stores – Fnac – but it wasn’t available. It’s sold at 12,75€ (paperback) and 16,75€ (hardcover), which wouldn’t be as bad if I hadn’t seen that the hardcover edition on Amazon is $10.40. Sometimes it sucks living in a country where things are so expensive.

Well, I can’t recommend you this book yet, as I haven’t read it, but I was wondering if any of you out there have read it and what you think of it. Do you recommend it? Were your expectations met?
