{Recipe} Berry Mix Popsicles

Today I’m sharing a really quick popsicle recipe. I love smoothies and I make them quite often. My favorites are strawberry/banana and berry mix/banana. Last week I made a huge batch for me and my boyfriend and I still had plenty of leftovers. Yes, we have a big blender. When this happens, I usually put the rest of the smoothie on a container and freeze it to use on another smoothie later on. But that day I thought it would be fun to try a different thing. I got my popsicle molds out, filled them up and put them in the freezer. The next day, these delicious beauties came out! Isn’t that a pretty color? =)

So, this is what you’ll need:

– 2 cups of frozen berries
– 1 banana
– 2 cups of milk (we only use skim milk but you can use your favorite)
– 1 cup of water

Blend all together until it reaches a smoothie consistency. If needed (some frozen berry mixes have more water than others), you can add a bit more water. The consistency will need to soft and smooth, just ready to be served as a smoothie. You can also add a bit of honey if you want, but with the banana, you probably won’t need it.

Pour the mix in the popsicle molds and put them in the freezer at least overnight. =)

These are guaranteed to be a hit, specially among children or berry-loving adults. =)

Have an amazing day!

I’ll be sharing this post on some of these blogs. You should check them out! 😉
