My bucket list

bucketlist

In a few weeks I’ll be 28. My birthday always makes me think about my life and what I want.

There’s this thing called “bucket list” that usually we associate to lists that people make when they find out they have little time to live, but I do like to make bucket lists. They help me guide my way and keep helping me adjusting goals.

So today I want to share a few items on my bucket list right now. Just because.

By the way, I took the photo above. If you want to check some more of my photos, just check the tag on the right called Photography. =)

Skydive. It’s scary but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, even though I’m known for my fear of heights.

Move to the States. No news here.

Have a birthday party. I love surprises and love surprising people. Would sure love to be surprised one day. eheh

Own an iMac. I love Macintosh and all things related. But I’m guessing this is something I’ll be able to do in some years and probably only after moving.

Start my own business. In a perfect world, it would be a mix of early intervention, restaurant/bakery and surprise-making agency. Odd?

Have a pool. Oh my… since I was a kid, growing up in the hot hot hot hot Algarve, I dreamed of having my own pool! How cool is that? Having the possibility of just coming home from work and chill by the pool? =)

Have a backyard and a driveway. First, this would mean I would have a house, instead of living in an apartment. And a backyard… I’m already imagining my dog running wild and happy… And the driveway… With my own garage, that I could fill with lots of stuff and eventually have a garage sale. Wow, the images going through my mind right now lol

Publish a book. Maybe a cooking book for the regular people. That kind of recipes that you can put together in a quick and easy way. Not having to buy a thing because you usually have the ingredients on a daily basis at home. I do that A LOT and would love to share, eventually.

Be able to help my family and give them an amazing life. I have the best mother, father and grandma I could have. And they deserve to enjoy life. I would love to be able to help with that.

Have a say in the world. This is why I started this blog.

Grow up. I know, this might be strange to read but, even though I feel I’m grown up (obviously), I feel I need to evolve. I need to learn a lot about a lot of things. That’s why I love Emily Eddington’s videos (check the blog post I wrote about her). You can’t explain, most of the times, why something makes so much sense to you. And her videos just make sense. I’ve learned so much that I’m literally keeping a notepad by my computer while watching. Geek? Probably. But a proud one. eheh

So, my list goes on, but these are the ones I was looking to share today. If you want to share some of yours, please do!
I’m sure as my name is Sofia that I will achieve these goals. =)

Have a good week!
