I’ll be 30 in 98 days. But who’s counting, right?

Wow. I’ve hit the less-than-100-days-until-my-birthday mark.

In 98 days, on June 5, I’ll be thirty. And I’m actually excited. Not because of turning 30 – that’s actually meh for me – but because I have so much to look forward to until my actual birthday.

BTW – I asked my boyfriend for a party this year. Just so you know.   And also, please help him. =)

In 2 days, my dad turns 74. So, I’m driving to my hometown for his birthday. Then, later in March, we’ll have our 7th anniversary, which is really cool. In April, someone is going be born and it’s going to be awesome. In May, my sister turns 33 on the 7th, and the following day one of my “nephews” turns 1. And then it’s full force until June 5.

I have so much going on right now. And even though I’m still out of a job, I’m not curled up in the corner, crying my eyes out. I’m fighting for my dreams and everything that I deserve. And I’ll achieve it. I’m not worried about that.

I’ve been doing a lot of things that I enjoy and working on several projects that I’m finding myself more and more passionate every day. Some of them I’ll be sharing here, some of them I won’t. That’s life. But I’m happy, and I know that’s enough. =)

I read a couple of really cool posts on turning 30 – posts like “30 before 30” – and they basically were lists of things to accomplish or try before turning 30.

Even though these posts are usually funny and entertaining, I won’t do that. My life won’t end at 30 and I don’t usually do “resolutions”. I have a bucket list and I have goals and even though they’re pretty nicely organized in my head, I don’t have anything life-changing that I want to do before turning 30. I had one, and we now know how that turned out (click here if you don’t).

But here’s one promise. I will enjoy every single day until I turn 30. At least as much as I plan to enjoy every single day after I turn 30. Is that okay? =)

Tomorrow I’ll show you a really cool DIY gift that I made this past weekend. I know you’ll like it so, be sure to check back. Or even better – follow me on Bloglovin or any of the rest of the social media and you’ll be notified of the post!

See you tomorrow!

My birthday is March 8 and I’m turning 30 as well. My husband asked me the other day if I was sad. I told him I’m honestly not. I’m looking at it as a new chapter!
    Hope you get your party!

I love everyday I wake up. Be careful driving out of town! I think your boyfriend will pull through! I’ll be turning 30 in December!

As someone who passed thirty more than a decade ago, I say lucky you! What a wonderful couple of months ahead. 30 is terrific:)
