Homemade Pizza

Today it’s Sunday so I wanted to do something different for dinner. I haven’t made pizza for a while now so it was kinda the obvious choice in my head.

To make the pizza, I used my Moulinex food processor that I use A LOT. The ingredients are:
– 300g all purpose flour
– 180mL tepid water
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 package of yeast (about 11g)
– pinch of salt.

These ingredients yield around two 10-inch pizzas. I made it all in one huge pizza. =) All you should do is place the flour and the salt in the mixing bowl and mix for a few seconds in the higher speed. Then, using the feed tube, add the yeast mixed with the water and then the olive oil. Mix for a few more seconds, until the dough forms a ball. Leave the dough to rise until it doubles the size. As it’s quite cold, mine took around an hour and a half. And it looked like this:

Obviously, you can use the homemade pizza dough recipe you prefer. This is a really simple and quick one that I like, so I used it.

For the toppings, I used grated cheese (island’s cheese, a type of really intense flavored cheese we have in Portugal), peppers, mushrooms and minced meat (that I minced and cooked at home also).

Having all this prepared all I had to do was put the pizza together. I was sure around this time it would be a huge pizza, and I was right. Just look at the pictures eheh =)

And after about 40 minutes, the result was a really good tasty pizza. =) Enough for two meals for two.
