Easy last-minute baked goods Christmas present!

Today is road trip day! And we have a LOT happening today up to around 7pm when we’ll hit the road. After that we’ll be out of the house for about 10 days, which is crazy – it’s something we haven’t been able to do in a couple of years.

So, you can understand that I’m running on coffee =)

Still, I wanted to drop by really quick to share an easy idea to beautify your baked good for Christmas presents.

I used two recipes: one – a long time favorite, the other – a first timer that actually turned out delicious! =)

{Have you entered the giveaway going on my blog right now? You can win a $35 Gap Gift Card+Large Ad on the Dwelling Tree! Check it out! It only runs for a week!}

The long time favorite is a cookie that I already mentioned on my blog and it’s the absolutely amazing Chocolate Hazelnut Shortbread, or – as I like to call them – Nutella salted cookies. They’re delicious and you can find the recipe on Carol’s blog.

The new one is Laura Vitale’s Peppermint Bark. I’ve been wanting to try this for a while and they turned out really good. Check out some pictures of my experience. Doesn’t it look tasty?

After baking all the cookies, all you need is a cute box, a bit of paper, ribbon and imagination. I scanned the lid of the box, printed and turned it into a Christmas card to add to the box. And it was just as easy as that!

Hope you’re having a great time getting ready for the Holidays and if you’re travelling, be safe! =) See you all soon!

I’ll be sharing this post in some of the blogs listed here.
