Autism and electronics: One of the reasons computers were one of the greatest inventions ever

Today I want to share a wonderful inspiring video about a 14 year old girl diagnosed with autism that discovered the wonders of computers at 11.

She doesn’t talk and only expresses what she thinks, feels and wants using the computer. It’s an amazing video, that really inspires families and people working with special needs kids.

There’s one thing she says in the video that keeps coming to my mind:
“It’s hard to be autistic because no one understands me. What do I want? I want to be like every other kid. But I can’t. Because I am Carly.”

If you know anyone that has a kid with autism or even if they don’t, share this video. This is a good way to inspire and show there can be a little light somewhere that will help.

Have a good Tuesday!
