If you love cooking and want to try different recipes, or even if you just want to learn how to make simple and amazing meals, you need to go to the online community AllRecipes.com (just click the logo above).

Wikipedia describes this community like this:
“Allrecipes.com is a global social networking service and forum, which encourages users to post recipes, comment on and make changes to existing recipes and search for specific recipes. In addition, it allows users to create recipe blogs, vote on pictures of finished dishes, and receive awards based on their submissions and results. Users become part of the community by reviewing and commenting on other people’s food-related blogs, pictures and recipes. Allrecipes.com has over 16 million visitors per month, more than 40,000 available recipes and is considered to the number one online community for food and entertaining enthusiasts.”

I’ve been a member since March 2011 and I absolutely love this community. I’ve used countless recipes from here and having the possibility to comment on the recipes and share different ways of making that recipe is amazing. You have the chance of saving the recipes on your recipe box, so you can easily access them, and I just realized I have 313 recipes in my recipe box! And I only save the ones I believe would be awesome to try!

I also have the iPad and iPhone apps and, recently, they launched the YouTube channel!

Again, if you love cooking, you’ll be addicted to this channel. Really. They show some of the recipes shared in the community, made in the AllRecipes.com kitchen and it’s done in such a simple and concise way! Seriously, you’ll love it! I’m building a Favorites list of my favorite recipes from their channel, that I’ll make available on my YouTube channel. When I finish it, I’ll share the link.

UPDATE: on July 22, the AllRecipes team posted this video on their channel. =) really summarizes everything I could about the community! =)
