Afternoon in Lisbon – Part 3 – Arch of Light

afternooninlisbonpart3_1Our sightseeing saga ends here. Actually, this was the main reason we took this day to do a bit of sightseeing around downtown Lisbon. For a period of 10 days in August, the Augusta’s Arch (see last post for more photos of it) was lit up with an amazing Videomapping 3D show. It was called Arch of Light and ran three times each day for about 18 minutes. Oh and it was free and had lots and lots of visitors.

I have some photos of the show but I have included one of the several YouTube recordings of the show. This one has the best quality in my opinion. It’s long but worth it. 😉

Also, the first photo is our dinner. We had an amazing dinner at a nearby shopping mall and I had to share a photo, obviously eheh The meal is called “prego” and it’s basically a meat cut (I had pork, my boyfriend had beef) with rice, fries or salad. Mine was in a sandwich. Delicious!

After the show we strolled for a bit and enjoyed a nice warm evening. =) Oh and we rode in one of the older trams! Cool! 😉

If you haven’t visited Lisbon yet, you need to come here. It’s beautiful with lots of things to visit and do!

Have a wonderful day! And see you tomorrow with another movie review!

I’ll be sharing this on some of my favorite websites.
